 Dear All, Just a short note to keep you all up to date from the society.The daily chant continues with Greg occasionally leading it. ( https://us02web.zoom.us/j/621229843?pwd=QWZKQkFwNHVMb1F6aVhKZVFObE1BZz09 )and occasionally Luang Por leads or just joins. Every Friday at 1pm we have zoom meetings, which are very interesting and helpful. Last week we discussed Fear and how to deal with it taking advice from the Dharma. This subject came up as a result of another suggestion about the looming fear of AI. We hope to discuss this at the next meeting when hopefully Bill will ‘help’ as I believe he has written a book on the subject.We celebrated Vesak at Sale with members from Buddhist society in person and on zoom. A few people spoke about what Sale means to them and Patricia led a meditation session. Ken Garrod lead the proceedings and cake followed. Ken Garrod is now in Thailand and has been ordained. We have the honour and pleasure to see the hair cutting and part of the ceremony through photographs in What’s App. Being able to see it is one of the pleasures of technology and the internet. He is attending the morning chanting so it’s good we can keep in touch. Thank you Ken for doing this for us all. Thanks to all who work for and contribute to the Buddha Metta Society’s running.
